Last week, all of the students at MES signed their names on a pink heart to say that they are taking the pledge against bullying! The banner was hung in the cafeteria during the week to remind students that they are united against bullying.
The month of October is Bullying Prevention Month. For the next few weeks in guidance, I will be talking to my students about bullying, what to do if you see bullying, what to do if you are getting bullied, and much more!
I was able to make a video with my 5th grade Lion Leaders to show students what bullying looks like, and what to do if you see bullying. So far, the students have loved watching the video! October 19th is Unity Day/Stop Bullying Day. On this day, all students are encouraged to wear ORANGE to unite against bullying. More information about this day will be sent home in my next newsletter. |
